For Mac users:
Before you download and install any of the Adobe products, please make sure that you close/quit any open Adobe applications as well as Microsoft Word.
Use the links below to download the product(s) you wish to upgrade/install on your Mac.
Once the files have downloaded, please right click (or CTRL + Click) on the installer and choose “Open”. The upgrade procedure will attempt to uninstall the current version of your Adobe products first.
After the application has been installed, you may need to navigate to your Applications folder on your Mac to run the new version (Dock icons from old versions of Photoshop and Illustrator won’t work anymore).
You may be prompted to log in to the Adobe Creative Cloud application. When logging in to the Adobe Creative Cloud, make sure to use your NetID@wisc.edu as your email address and not your first.last@wisc.edu (for example Bucky Badger would use bbadger@wisc.edu NOT bucky.badger@wisc.edu).
You may then be prompted whether this is a Personal or Corporate/School account. Choose the Corporate/School account.
Provided you were successfully able to log in to the Adobe Creative Cloud, you should not be prompted to log in again when using your Adobe applications.
For PC users:
If you are receiving a license expiration warning from Acrobat, please click on the “Sign In” button in the upper right-hand corner of the application. You will be prompted to log in to your Adobe account. When logging in to the Adobe account, make sure to use your NetID@wisc.edu as your email address and not your first.last@wisc.edu (for example Bucky Badger would use bbadger@wisc.edu NOT bucky.badger@wisc.edu).
All Adobe applications can be installed on departmental computers using our Software Center. To access the Software Center, please follow these directions: software-center
